Behind the camera Dorothea gives you confidence, self-worth and works with you to create a safe space where you can express yourself, be yourself while immortalising the moment. By nature camera-shy, she made me forget she was photographing me and made me feel comfortable, empowered instead. All of it with an unprecedented professionalism but also a lot of fun !

This was such a transformative experience. First off, the circumstances of having to reschedule twice were really intense as I had a miscarriage the week we were supposed to shoot, (btw, I don't know how to take this, Universe LOL). I was so moved by your patience, generosity and kindness, and by your flexibility.

I struggle a lot with impostor syndrome and body image issues, and from the first time we were in touch you've made me feel seen, legit and that I was much more than just a plus-sized-chronically-ill body.

The day of the shooting you showed up with a basket of goodies that I was NOT expecting at all and totally warmed my heart.

Dorothea takes into consideration what do you need, and how you want to feel. And if she has to climb on a ladder, squat or balance on one leg, she will!

The photos are exactly what I needed! And even my amazing brand manager has fun taking them and transforming them in an ultra creative ways that surprises me.
