Hi there, I’m Dorothea!
I’m a Swiss photographer who recently moved to Ottawa, Canada. Why you ask? At the risk of sounding cheesy, for love.
My Canadian (now) husband and I met in 2017 while we were both traveling in London, England.
We had an instant connection, and the rest is history. 5 years long distance, and a pandemic later, we finally moved in together!!
Long story short, we chose to settle in Ottawa because we both love nature and it is close to his family, while also giving us a fresh start somewhere new.
We started a travel blog in 2019, which we had to quickly close down in 2020 for obvious reasons 😅 and that’s when I got serious about photography.
I started my personal branding photography business at the beginning of 2021, which I built while living in Switzerland, the UK, and now Canada, all while finishing my Psychology Degree, and renovating a house.
Ever since settling in Ottawa, I felt a pull to start doing wedding photography. I don’t have to tell you this, but there just is something magical in every single wedding. And getting to capture that in images for the couple to cherish for years to come is such a blessing!
